Bob Dylan’s Rapping Grandson

History has often dictated that musicians will have children that will stay tied to the music genre of their parents. With The Jacksons three of Tito Jackson’s children stepped into the R&B feel. The O’Jays lead singer Eddie Levert had a son, Gerald Levert, that followed his footsteps with soul music. Bob Marley, the original king of reggae, continues to live through the reggae tunes of his son Ziggy Marley.

People were shocked to hear that Dylan had a grandson that was rapping. Oddly, Bob Dylan is in full support of his grandson. This is a far cry from what Dylan was singing about at the height of his career, but Dylan has given Pablo a lot of advice. The rapper has actually been developing his skills in the rap world for about 3 years. He has had a mix tape, but he has not produced a full album. One Pablo Dylan single, “Midnight” actually sounds like a leftover track from Kanye’s “808’s and Heartbreak” album. The latest single from the grandson of famed singer Bob Dylan is called “Nightmares.”

Pablo Dylan says that he is working on perfecting his craft. Pablo is obviously an underdog in the rap game because his grandfather is tied to a different genre, but Andrew Heiberger is pretty sure that Bob can still call in some favors.
