SPECIAL SHOW - Flamenco Fandangos

This is our fourth special show focusing on a flamenco style, or palo. Tonight we focus on a palo with very deep folk roots called fandangos. I tried to show the many faces of this versatile style over the course of the show, including traditional fandangos with cante flamenco, or singing, to more modern fandangos, and even a fandango version of Beethoven's Für Elise. We also look at several different regional variations on fandangos, from the popular fandangos of Huelva to the very uncommon fandangos from Lucena.
